Meal Planning 

By the end of this unit you will:

  • Understand the different nutrients that we need to be healthy and explain their function in the body

  • Create a meal plan to suit an individuals needs

  • Identify the correct serving sizes for each of the different food groups

  • Understand and indentify the New Zealand Food and Nutrition Guidelines

  • Plan and cook well balanced healthy meals
